The goal of Quickstrike FC has been to train and develop the Hudson Valley area's best soccer players, and our acceptance into the Super Y-League (SYL) now affords those players the opportunity to compete at the highest level of youth soccer available in the country. In fact, the SYL is the only national youth league designed specifically for the top one percent of players in the nation.
For years, Hudson Valley players interested in playing at this level traveled well over an hour outside of our area to find outstanding programs that offered SYL competition. Quickstrike FC is now proud to serve as the exclusive home for the Hudson Valley's very own Super Y-League program.
In addition to the hard core level of competition, the Super Y-League also affords its players the opportunity to be identified by the top college coaches in the country as well as scouts for the Olympic Development Program (ODP). Working in conjunction with US Soccer, the Super Y-League has designed a scouting system that will allow Quickstrike FC Super Y League players to be identified to participate on Regional ODP Select Teams, where they will be evaluated by US Soccer National Olympic Team Staff.
The Quickstrike FC Super Y-League teams are open to all players from all clubs in the Hudson Valley region. Because the Super Y-League and the Super Y-League ODP are its own entity, players are not required to leave their current soccer club to participate.
Many of the top premier youth soccer programs in the country participate in the Super Y-League, including the youth development programs of the New York Red Bulls, and DC United of the MLS. SYL is the first part of the USL system that feeds into all of the men's and women's professional leagues in the country.
