Quickstrike FC has announced the schedule for the 2008 Premier Program teams.
Tryouts will kick off on May 14th at the New York Military Academy fields in Cornwall from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The following Wednesday, May 21, tryouts will move to Doherty Park in Beekman, NY (Dutchess County) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and then will include back at NYMA on Wednesday, May 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The Quickstrike Pre-Super Y U-11 girl’s team, coached by Jimmy Ventriglia, had an exciting day on Saturday April 26, 2008. Following a competitive morning training session, the team got an up-close and personal experience with Division I intercollegiate athletics. Quickstrike FC is proud to announce, Brittany Taylor will be attending Pre-Super Y Training this coming Saturday, April 12th. Brittany will be talking with the players prior to training to share her experiences of playing. She is the Big East Defensive Player of the year for 2007 as well as All-American playing for the University of Connecticut. April 4th 2008 the Quickstrike FC 94s was not a well known name but as of April 6th, the girls of the 94 team have brought the Quickstrike name to everyone’s attention in Region 1. Defense was the order of business at the Jefferson Cup for Quickstrike '93s as they shut out the Montgomery SC Matrix by a 1-0 score, as Jill Ferro scored the game's only goal during a scramble in front of the goal late in the second half.
To get to the semifinals the '93 Girls defeated defending Pa. State champion Beadling Blaze 1-0 on a goal by Jill Ferro in the first half. The QuickStrike defense made that one goal stand up the rest of the way.

Quickstrike FC Magic pulled off a great victory in the finals of the Jefferson Cup, defeating highly ranked Spirit United (Pa) 1-0.

In group play, Quicktrike went 2-0-1, tying Rhode Island state cup champion Rays 1-1, defeating Manalapan Shooting Stars (NJ) 2-0, and power house Westchester United 2-1 (PA).

The Quickstrike U14 girls competed in their first State Cup match March 22 against Guilderland SC at Union College in Schenectady, NY. What began as a beautiful sunny day turned bitter cold when the sun dropped and Guilderland kicked off to start the game at 6 PM. The Quickstrike girls put immediate pressure on Guilderland finding their rhythm; they quickly took complete control of the field. Defensively, the girls flawlessly held Guilderland score less. Tryouts have been scheduled for the Quickstrike FC U17 Boys Super Y-League team. Players are invited to attend tryouts on Wednesday nights, March 19 & 26th, at the New Windsor Sports Dome on Mt. Airy Road in New Windsor, NY from 8 to 9 pm.. The U17 team will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Division of the Super Y-League, which is the highest level of amateur play available in the United States. There is a $10 tryout registration fee to cover a Quickstrike FC tryout t-shirt.

Even though the weather didn't reflect it, this past weekend brought the Quickstrike U12 boys to Long Island's Hofstra University, to compete in the highly competitve Dix Hills Ultimate Spring Kickoff. Saturday's morning match was a tough one, with the boys facing Bayport (#3 rank in NY). The Quickstrike FC U13 Super Y-League roster has been selected by Coach Jesse Kolmel. The team will compete this Spring/Summer in the highly-competitive Mid-Atlantic Division of the USL’s Super Y-League.

Quickstrike FC Program Director Jesse Kolmel has announced the initial selections for the players who have qualified to make the roster of the inaugural 2008 Pre-Super Y-League team. To date, over 215 players have tried out, with 165 being accepted at this point. The program will continue to hold open tryouts to reach a maximum total roster size of 200 in the program ranging from U8 through U12 boys and girls.
