TAMPA, FLORIDA. – Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues midfielder Gabreila Demoner has been named to the 2010 W-League All-League Team and midfielder Alicia Tirelli has been named to the Eastern Conference All-Conference Team. Demoner was also designated as an All-Conference selection in addition to her All-League honor.

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues defeated the North Jersey Valkyries 2-0 Wednesday to stay on pace to claim the 2010 W-League Regular Season Championship.

The Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues will retire former Lady Blues and current Sky Blue FC defender Brittany Taylor’s jersey prior to Wednesday’s match against the North Jersey Valkyries, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Newburgh Free Academy.

The Quickstrike U14 boys needed at least a draw to clinch the Northern Counties Soccer Association title. Each year teams spend weeks and months preparing for their chance to be crowned state cup champions. The ’94 Girls made their first run at the state cup title in 2008 as an underdog and came out on top defeating the defending state cup champions Albertson Fury.
