Defender Brittany Taylor has signed a three year contract with defending Women's Professional Soccer champion Sky Blue FC. Taylor was drafted No. 6-overall by the team in January's WPS Draft.
Taylor starred for Sky Blue FC's W-League affiliate, the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues, in 2009, where she helped the team to a W-League Regular Season Championship and was named W-League Defender of the Year. NEWBURGH, N.Y. – Goalkeeper Erin McNulty and midfielder Mercede Koning will return to the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues for the upcoming 2010 W-League season.

Both were influential in the team’s run to a 2009 W-League Regular Season Championship and McNulty and Koning also enjoyed experiences in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues agreed to terms with midfielder Erica Stewart and defender Erica Campanelli for the upcoming 2010 W-League season.

Both served as captains for the 2009 W-League Regular Season Champion Lady Blues, which is a strong starting point, Head Coach Jesse Kolmel said.

NEWBURGH, NY – The Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues officially announced its 2010 W-League schedule on Monday. The announcement coincides with the full release of the 2010 USL W-League schedule.

The 2010 schedule will feature 12 games (six home and six away). In 2009, the Lady Blues played 14 games, amassing a record of 12-0-2 on their way to the 2009 W-League Regular Season Championship before falling to eventual champion Pali Blues in the semifinals.

On the eve of Christmas Eve, USLsoccer.com chats with the Quickstrike SC U14 girls’ Chatham Deprospo. Her team had an above-average season, barely missing out on a berth in the North American Finals. They finished the season with a 7-3-1 season, one point behind TSF Academy and one point ahead of City Islanders Academy. Deprospo scored three goals and three assists on the season.
